Spend a week singing and rehearsing exciting works including The Chariot Jubilee with fellow choral enthusiasts! Written in 1921 by Canadian-born composer Nathaniel Dett, The Chariot Jubilee is a free fantasia based on the spiritual Swing Low, Sweet Chariot. Building on the original message of the spiritual, Dett wrote additional lyrics to make the cantata a hymn of hope and a call for a better tomorrow. More repertoire to be added in the spring!
