An all-star lineup of artists kicks off the Festival! Ukrainian pianist Illia Ovcharenko, winner of the 2022 Honens International Piano Competition, is joined by internationally renowned artist Jon Kimura Parker, Music Director of the Honens Competition. The two will give an unmissable display of virtuosic skill. The heady list of masterworks includes Beethoven’s haunting “Moonlight” Sonata, a Mozart concerto, and a pair of two-piano works by Rachmaninoff and Milhaud. Ovcharenko adds a special twist with two preludes by Levko Revutsky, a composer from his own Ukrainian hometown.
