Born in Switzerland, Remea recently completed her MA in Music Pedagogy at the University of Fine Arts Zürich with Prof. Lilli Maijala. Before that, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the same school with Prof. Nicolas Corti and completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Music Physiology. Remea has worked both as an orchestra musician and a soloist, with an academy at the Tonhalle-Orchestra Zurich in 2021/22, an Academy with the baroque-focused Balthasar Neumann Orchestra and a soloistic debut at the Festival Murten Classics after winning second prize of the Valiant Forum 2023.
Remea is an active chamber musician and participated in Toronto Summer Music 2025 and the Danish String Quartet Academy. She has performed alongside Tabea Zimmermann, Yura Lee and Jennifer Frautschi, amongst others. As part of the MARS Quartet, she is a prize winner of the Orpheus Swiss Chambermusic Competition and was selected for the MERITA platform, a project directed by the Italian chamber music agency “Le Dimore del Quartetto” and supported by the European Union. The Quartet is scheduled to play at the Adelboden Swiss Chambermusic Festival 2026 and in Samedan, Switzerland in August of 2026.
In masterclasses and festivals, Remea received musical input from teachers such as Tabea Zimmermann, Lars Anders Tomter, the Danish String Quartet, Nils Mönkemeyer and Hariolf Schlichtig. Remea plays a viola made in Berlin by Ragnar Hayn in 2024.
