Michele Wong is an award-winning pianist currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the Juilliard School of Music. With previous degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Indiana University, she has also attended prestigious summer programs such as Songfest (as a Stern Fellow), the Schubert Institut, SourceSong, and the Collaborative Piano Institute. She has been featured by series such as the Howland Chamber Music Circle, Long Island Chamber Music, the Omega Ensemble, and many others, as well as performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Hall at the Kauffman Center, and others. She has collaborated with renowned singers, including prize winners of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont, the Gerda Lissner, the George and Nora London Foundation, and the Seoul International Music Competitions, as well as instrumentalists such as members of the Juilliard and the Escher String Quartets. Her performances have been broadcast on television and radio, and her writing has appeared in the Art Song Foundation of Canada’s magazine. She has served as vocal coach and staff pianist for organizations such as City Lyric Opera, the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, and Juilliard’s Music Advancement Program. Michele has also worked with some of the leading composers of today, including Jake Heggie, Ben Moore, John Harbison, and others.
