Marc Serra is a pianist who combines his solo career with an intense activity in the world of Lied. He is described as a musician who “seems to have a primary, respectful, and intimate relationship with music, as if he understands it from the cortex and breathes life into it” (Diari Núvol).

Marc debuted as a soloist at the age of 16 at the Auditori de Girona, performing with the Orquestra del Conservatori Isaac Albéniz. Throughout his career, he has been awarded in numerous international competitions. As a Lied pianist, he has had the opportunity to debut at prestigious festivals such as the Schubertíada de Vilabertran, the Oxford Lieder Festival, and LIFE Victoria in Barcelona, performing in venues like L’Auditori de Barcelona or at Carnegie Hall in New York in January 2025 as part of Renée Fleming’s SongStudio program.

He studied in Barcelona with Maria Jesús Crespo and in Basel with Claudio Martínez Mehner.
