Jelena Pešić is a versatile pianist and piano accompanist currently based in Vienna, specializing in vocal accompaniment and collaborative performance. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under Prof. Aleksandar Madžar, graduating with honours, and earned a postgraduate degree in Piano Accompaniment with highest distinction. She is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Vocal Accompaniment at MDW (University of Music and Performing Arts) in Vienna under Prof. Markus Hadulla. 

Jelena has gained extensive professional experience working as an accompanist in opera and musical productions, including performances at La Monnaie (Brussels) and Opera Ballet Vlaanderen (Antwerp) as well as international tours. She has also worked closely with singers and ensembles at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel as an accompanist and regularly performs in concerts and chamber music settings across Europe. She recently collaborated as a pianist with the Netherlands Radio Choir, as regularly works as an accompanist with various choirs and vocal ensembles based in Vienna. 

A passionate collaborator, she has participated in numerous masterclasses with leading artists in the field of Lied and vocal performance. She was a scholarship holder of the Franz Schubert Institute and LiedBasel, where she worked with Elly Ameling, Julius Drake, Helmut Deutsch, Wolfram Rieger, Michael Schade and others. 

Aside from piano, Jelena plays harpsichord, organ and keyboard. Alongside her performance career, she is also dedicated to teaching and community engagement, working with students of all ages and performing regularly in outreach concerts.
