Hannah Moreno is an American soprano. In the 2023/2024 season, Hannah was featured on a variety of recitals, including her recently performed all Latin-American art song recital titled “Canciones de mi tierra,” with pianist Érico Freire Bezerra, sponsored by the Rochester Latino Theater Company. Hannah is looking forward to her recital with pianist Anna Park, featuring various song settings of Heine’s Die Lorelei and Goethe’s Mignon poems, as part of the George Eastman Museum’s Performance Plus series. Hannah will be featured as a soloist with Niagara Opera for their June concert performances. This summer, Hannah was awarded the 2024 Fellowship Artist Award to attend the Mostly Modern Festival in Saratoga Springs, NY.  

Hannah is an alumna of the Eastman School of Music (MM ’23, Voice Performance and Literature), and performed Rosalba in Catán’s Florencia en el Amazonas, Baker’s Wife in Sondheim’s Into the Woods, and Linfea in Cavalli’s La Calisto and was a featured soprano soloist for Schumann’s Requiem für Mignon with the Eastman-Rochester Chorus and Orchestra.   

Hannah performed Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen with Music on Site, Inc. in Wichita, Kansas. As an Emerging Artist at Sewanee’s Operafest 2023, she performed in their summer recital series and opera scenes as Adina from Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore.  

Hannah was the recipient of the Encouragement Award of the 2021 Lyra New York International Art Song Competition and was a triple semi-finalist in the CS Vocal Competition, Young Texas Artists Music Competition, and the Pasadena Vocal Competition.
