Farimah Khorrami

Clarinet (Community Program Lead)

Farimah Khorrami is a passionate clarinetist born on February 28, 2005. Her musical journey began at the age of seven when she started learning piano and singing. In 2018, she was accepted into the Tehran Music Conservatory, where she discovered her love for the clarinet and chose it as her main instrument. As a young performer, she took part in several national festivals, including the National Youth Festival, where she earned recognition for her performances. In 2022, she was named a finalist in the Yamaha Scholarship Program, an important milestone in her early development as a musician.

In 2023, Farimah moved to Canada to begin her Bachelor of Music in Performance at the University of Toronto, studying under Miles Haskins. Since then, she has performed with the University of Toronto Wind Ensemble and the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra, gaining valuable ensemble experience. She also joined the Toronto Youth Orchestra for the 2024 to 2025 season.

For Farimah, music is more than a career path. It is a powerful form of expression. Through each performance, she shares her emotions and stories, connecting with audiences on a deeper level. She continues to grow as an artist and remains fully committed to her journey as a performer.
