April Lee is a Korean-American pianist originally from Los Angeles. She recently completed her Master of Music degree at the New England Conservatory of Music, studying with HaeSun Paik and Vivian Weilerstein. Since making her solo debut at the age of 14, she has appeared with the Virtuosi Brunenses Orchestra, Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, the Beach Cities Symphony, and Mount Saint Mary’s University Orchestra.

As an avid chamber musician, April has collaborated with esteemed artists including Paul Watkins, Philip Setzer, and Hsin-Yun Huang. She has spent previous summers at numerous festivals around the globe, including The Shouse Institute at Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival, Chautauqua Institution Piano Program, Gijón International Piano Festival, Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival, Kinhaven Young Artist Seminar, and MusicFest Perugia. She has participated in masterclasses with Robert McDonald, Boris Slutsky, Alexander Kobrin, Oxana Yablonskaya, and Jerome Lowenthal, among others. April holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance with a minor in Music and Cognition from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Alvin Chow.
