Alanna Beilke

Soprano

Hometown: Madison, Wisconsin

Soprano Alanna Beilke is an equal-opportunity devotee of opera, art song, concert, and vocal competition. An avid vocal competitor, Ms. Beilke has been awarded first place in the Eastman Concerto Competition and the NATS New York Finger Lakes Competition, second place in the Friends of Eastman Opera Competition and the Glenn Miller Birthplace Society Music Competition, Honourable Mention at the Musicians Club of Women Competition, and Voice Category Winner at the Walgreens National Concerto Competition twice.

Alanna has taken the operatic stage as Esther (Silent Light), Madame Lidoine cv./Soeur Catherine (Dialogues des Carmelites), Primadonna cv. (Ariadne auf Naxos prologue), La Voce de la Fuente (Ainadamar), and Chorus (Dido and Aeneas).

With the Eastman Philharmonia, Alanna was delighted to perform songs of Gustav Mahler under the baton of Anthony Parnther. An enthusiastic explorer of contemporary works, she premiered and recorded the cycle An Evening of Shakespeare by Payton Brown with the Eastman School Symphony Orchestra. She has appeared as a soloist with the Eastman Chorale in works by Ruth Crawford Seeger and Ned Rorem.

Alanna is a Toronto Summer Music Festival alumna (2025), thrilled to return for a second season. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music in 2025. A genuine cheesehead, she was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin.
