San Rim is a 21-year-old cellist who will be continuing his undergraduate studies in Music Perfromance at the University of Toronto this fall with Professor Joseph Johnson.
He is a graduate of the Phil and Eli Taylor Performance Academy for Young Artists and briefly attended the Eastman School of Music for undergraduate studies in Cello Performance with Steven Doane before deciding to transfer schools and finish his undergraduate studies in Toronto.
He has participated in the National Youth Orchestra of Canada for 2 summers in 2017 and 2018. Thanks to the NYOC he has been able to perform and visit various concert halls in Germany and Scotland as well as the entirety of Canada.
San Rim plays a Giulio Di. Eugenio Degani Cello from 1911 on loan from a generous private benefactor.
